Sophia Ashenhurst - Massage Therapist
After training professionally in Remedial and Sports Massage Therapy in 2010, Sophia had a desire to learn about how our mental state, our emotions and our connection (or not) to spirituality effects the healthy functioning of the body. Sophia then went on and trained in Visionary Craniosacral Therapy and Traditional Hawaiian LomiLomi. This gave her a broader insight into how we can use massage and bodywork to help heal on a deep level that includes all aspects of the self. Sophia utilises her knowledge and skills in Remedial and Sports Massage to address postural and functional issues in treatments, and uses her craniosacral and LomiLomi to create an intuitively connected presence with each client which creates a space for deeper insight into our own life experience, pain, events and spiritual connection. When all aspects of self are addressed, wholeness can be experienced. Sophia has a beautiful flow, and can work deeply for more remedial deep tissue work.
